Head Coach & Professional Golfer
MJ Xaba
MJ is an active professional golfer who competes on Tour and brings real tournament experience to every lesson he gives. When he is not travelling or competing, he dedicates himself fully to developing golfers from all backgrounds - especially those who remind him of his own humble beginnings.
MJ's coaching philosophy is simple: build the person first, and the golfer will follow. He believes that golf is a powerful tool for developing courage, discipline, and confidence, and he coaches with the conviction that every player deserves the opportunity to rise.

Academy Director & Coach
Phaladi Alfred Motsoiri
Alfred is a competitive golfer who is actively building his playing career and making his presence felt in the golf space. While he is not yet a professional, he competes regularly and understands the demands of the game from inside the ropes.
As Academy Director, Alfred oversees the daily running of Blackbird Golf Development Academy and is deeply involved in the growth of every student. He is passionate about creating opportunities for people who, like him, are determined to rise through golf. Phaladi brings energy, structure, and a player's perspective to his coaching.
